In the midst of The Wild Card Rule, some superstars have noticeably been hindered due to the company focusing on stars such as Shane McMahon, Roman Reigns, and Kofi Kingston on both brands. Buddy Murphy is one of those talents; The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion has yet to make a televised appearance for the blue brand despite being drafted in the Superstar Shake-up in April.

Murphy teased a feud with Ali during a dark segment on Smackdown Live, but there’s been no other indication of the former 205 Live superstar making his debut any time soon.

Murphy once again showed his face during a dark segment of Smackdown Live yesterday, stating that he doesn’t need the blue brand; however, it does need him. Murphy didn't reveal when he’ll actually make his debut, but hopefully creative has plans for WWE’s self-proclaimed Best Kept Secret very soon.
