Her name had been conspicuously absent from the list of former WWE Superstars and Legends that would be showing up on next week's 25th anniversary edition of RAW, but tonight on SmackDown LIVE, the one and only Trish Stratus was confirmed to make an appearance.

Stratus was a pioneer of women's wrestling and did a lot for the way female performers were perceived in general. Though she has long since retired from the business, she has made sporadic appearances over the years, so a return to the ring isn't outside the realms of possibility.

That said, the best we can hope for is probably a spot in the women's Royal Rumble match.
