You may recall
an incident (well, it was a selfie) involving former
WWE backstage producer and
Ring of Honor tag-team champion Jimmy Jacobs greeting his friends in the parking lot during the "Bullet Club Invasion" which led to his firing.
It was a pretty silly reason to let someone go - especially when they'd contributed so much to some great angles - but Jacobs isn't bitter. In fact, he's glad it happened when it did.
While chatting to Chris Van Vliet, Jacobs revealed that
WWE was a great place to work most of the time, but there was "one black cloud that hangs over the place, and that’s the crazy man."

"They did for me [being fired] what I could have never have done for myself. I would have stayed there another 10 years and been miserable and hated life just like most of the other writers there. I don’t want to speak for them, but there’s a lot of unhappiness there.”
