During FOX's presentation at the Television Critics Association press tour yesterday, FOX Entertainment CEO Charlie Collier had nothing but good things to say about WWE and made it clear that the network is excited to bring SmackDown Live to FS1 this year. He described the company as "great storytellers" (that's debatable) and added that they have big plans for wrestling on their networks.

Apparently, there are already plans in place for more WWE programming across the FOX Sports networks and while he didn't go into specifics, we know that there's been some talk of a studio show.

Collier also revealed that SmackDown Live will continue to be aired live and he noted that its Friday night slot is expected to be "short term," so we could see it return to Tuesday nights before too long. FOX has paid WWE $1 billion over the course of five years to air the blue brand and it's thought that this will transform the show into WWE's A-brand (so, expect to see the biggest stars on the show).
