FOX May Extend SMACKDOWN LIVE To Three Hours When It Moves To The Network Later This Year

If you're not a fan of three hours of RAW each week, then you may want to turn away now. According to Dave Meltzer, there's talk within WWE and FOX of extended SmackDown Live from two to three hours when it moves from USA this October.

"[Maybe] what they’ll do is 2 hours from 8 to 10 on Friday nights and then do hour number 3 from 10 to 11 on FS1," Meltzer explained. "The idea is they can get another 50 million per year off of Fox by getting that extra hour." Well, that would certainly make sense and while it won't be a popular decision, FOX will no doubt be happy with that.

We already know that the plan is to make SmackDown Live a star-studded affair and that extra hour would allow more Superstars the chance to shine.

Roman Reigns and Ronda Rousey are both rumoured to be moved to the blue brand and its ratings are expected to eclipse RAW. As always, stay tuned for updates as we have them and let us know your thoughts on this news in the comments section.
