It was a week ago today that Braun Strowman chose a seemingly random child from the WrestleMania crowd to help him win the RAW Tag Team Championships from Sheamus and Cesaro but it took only 24 hours for the Monster Among Men to relinquish the titles...mostly because Nicholas is only 10!

Since then, fans have been wondering about his true identity; is he just a child actor WWE found or did Strowman really pick a child from the audience to join him on the Grandest Stage of Them All?

Well, the truth is that Nicholas is, in fact, the son of WWE referee John Cone. He was the referee for this WrestleMania match and also the one who officiated the bout between Strowman and The Big Show which ended with the ring collapsing. What led to his son getting this 15 minutes of fame isn't clear but it's a pretty cool moment for them both and definitely made for a memorable match.
