Here's What The Big Show Had To Say About Why He Turned On The New Day And Aligned Himself With The Bar

One of the biggest surprises during last night's episode of SmackDown Live came when The Big Show chokeslammed Kofi Kingston through a table to help The Bar win the tag team title but why did he do it?

Arguably the best match during SmackDown 1000 saw The New Day defend their tag team titles against The Bar. However, when The Big Show made his way to the ring to seemingly stop The Bar from putting Kofi Kingston through the table, he took matters into his own hands and turned heel.

Big E, distracted by seeing his Kofi put through a table via chokeslam, was then hit by a Brogue Kick and Sheamus and Cesaro won the titles as a result. So, are we looking at a brand new faction?

Asked why he sided with The Bar in the video below, The Big Show refused to give anything away but it's now clear that he's going to be teaming up with The Bar for the foreseeable future, something which hopefully means we can look forward to a run of really fun six-man tag team matches.
