Here's Why SMACKDOWN LIVE Superstar Big Cass Was Fired By WWE

It was revealed yesterday that Big Cass has been fired by WWE and now some new reports have surfaced which shed some light on why the former NXT Superstar was released hours before SmackDown went on the air.

Yesterday, WWE announced that Big Cass has been released (they didn't even wish him the best with his future endeavours). Since then, there's been a lot of speculation that his decision to go off script and repeatedly punch a little person dressed as Daniel Bryan rather than just delivering a boot as he was ordered to may be what resulted in him being fired. In reality, there's more to it than just that!

According to Dave Meltzer, that was just one of the straws which broke the camel's back. Pro Wrestling Sheet, meanwhile, says that an incident on the WWE bus that transports talent around was another factor. They reveal that after Cass got stuck in the bathroom - something he thought was a rib - he smashed the door down and the other Superstars then had to use that without there being a door.

Sports Illustrated claims that he had "attitude issues when drunk" on WWE's recent European tour and that too came into play. Overall, it seems there were ultimately a number of incidents which caused Vince McMahon to fire Cass just hours before SmackDown Live went on the air and it's a real shame he acted the way he did because WWE clearly had some big plans for him once upon a time.
