Here's Why Vince McMahon Missed The EXTREME RULES PPV Over The Weekend

We've been hearing rumblings that Vince McMahon gave Sunday's Extreme Rules PPV a miss and we now have details on why the WWE Chairman was absent from the event and the answer is surprisingly mundane!

Vince McMcMahon is one of the hardest working people on the planet and so the news that he was absent from Extreme Rules on Sunday obviously set tongues wagging. However, what we now know is that he was in communication with officials for the entire evening and it was actually Triple H and Billy Kidman who ran the show (which might explain why Ziggler vs. Rollins was the main event).

According to Dave Meltzer, there's actually a very simple explanation as to why McMahon missed the PPV; he always takes a week off in mid-July and the show just so happened to coincide with that!

Given how much time he devotes to WWE, it should really come as no surprise to learn that he probably takes only one week off out of fifty-two and it's fair to say that the WWE Chairman has earned it. Do you think Extreme Rules was better without him behind the scenes or would you have never noticed had we not told you? As always, share your thoughts in the comments section down below.
