Tonight's Smackdown Live opened with John Cena's long-awaited (well, depending on who you ask) return, as "The Franchise" launched into a ra-ra speech about how awesome it was to live in 'Murica. However, just as he was warming up, Rusev interrupted him with his usual angry foreigner shenanigans.

Yes, we're in for repeat of the glorious simplicity of Liberty Bell VS. Zoya the Destroyer from Netflix's GLOW, as The Bulgarian Brute takes on Super-Cena in a Flag Match at the WWE Battleground PPV in three weeks time. What exactly this stipulation involves is not clear just yet, but we're sure to find out next week on Smackdown.
