Lana Will Get Yet Another Shot At Naomi's WWE Women's Championship On SMACKDOWN LIVE Next Tuesday

Yes, this is still a thing. After 2 unsuccessful attempts at beating Naomi for her WWE Women's Championship, the Ravishing Russian will get another shot at the title on next Tuesday's episode of Smackdown Live.

Though Lana is very new to in-ring action, she's had two decent showings against Naoimi over the past couple of weeks. Of course, she didn't manage to wrestle away the Women's Championship, but the Ravishing Russian will get another opportunity to do just that on the next edition of Smackdown Live.

After complaining that her shoulder was raised off the mat when she was pinned at the end of their last encounter, GM Daniel Bryan has granted Lana yet another rematch. If she doesn't win this time, this whole thing seems a little pointless - unless they are actually trying to establish her character as an incompetent loser. Yes, Lana is a heel, but even the bad guys need a certain amount of credibility to seem like a threat.

At any rate, we'll see how this shakes out - but they way a lot of WWE matches have been booked recently I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Naomi manages to pin he clean before she even gets in the ring.
