RAW Superstar Jeff Hardy Explains Why He Hasn't Donned Face Paint Since Returning To WWE

Since returning to WWE alongside his brother Matt, Jeff Hardy hasn't once donned his iconic face paint. Now, he's explained that and has even offered an update on where things stand with the #Broken gimmick.

For the past twenty years or so, Jeff Hardy has shown himself to be one of the most innovative and creative wrestlers there is. He's frequently used face paint to stand out from the crowd and that defined his singles runs in both WWE and TNA. However, since returning to the former alongside Matt at WrestleMania, there's been no sign of that and fans have been wondering why.

Well, during an appearance at Wizard World Chicago this weekend, Jeff was asked during a Q&A why he hasn't donned the face paint and it all boils down to Vince McMahon. Apparently, he's decided that it's only okay to do it at house shows and not on television but that could change if there's a special event or if he has another
singles run. Jeff did, however, add: "Thanks, Finn Balor."

Balor obviously decks himself out in face and body paint and it's easy to understand why WWE would want to keep that as something special which is only done by one Superstar. On another note, Jeff also promised that his and Matt's #Broken gimmick will be coming to WWE at some point but was unable to provide any specifics on when that will be. Time will tell, I guess!
