Seth Rollins Has Begun To Utilize A New Finishing Move - And It Should be Very Familiar To NEW JAPAN Fans

Now that Seth "Freakin'" Rollins is done with Triple H, it only makes sense that he'd stop using his old mentor's Pedigree finisher, and it looks like he has indeed pulled something new out of his arsenal...

Before Seth Rollins threw in with Triple H and betrayed his Shield bothers, he used the awesome Curb Stomp as his finisher, but when Vince McMahon deemed that too imitable, he began to utilize The Game's iconic Pedigree instead. However, following the pair's brutal unsanctioned match at Mania, many assumed it'd only be a matter of time before Rollins replaced the modified pildriver with something else, and it looks like that's exactly what he's done.

When Raw went off the air last night, Rollins and Chris Jericho defeated Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens in an impromptu tag match, and "The Architect" used a move known as the Rain-Trigger (don't be suprised if he renames it The Kingslayer!) to pin the latter. This knee-strike appears to be an amalgamation of Kenny Omega's V-Trigger and Kazuchika Okada's devastating Rainmaker clothesline, which should be very familiar to NJPW fans.

We don't know for sure if this is going to be Rollins' new finisher moving forward, but it's probably a safe bet. You can check out some blurry footage of Rollins hitting the Rain-Trigger HERE
