Sheamus has become a WWE mainstay, winning multiple championships and main eventing countless shows. In recent years, however, we've seen The Celtic Warrior align himself with Ridge Holland and Pete Dunne/Butch as The Brawling Brutes.
Now, Sheamus is no stranger to being part of factions that don't work out (remember The League of Nations?) but after a heel run, the Brutes have definitely been embraced by fans since turning babyface.
Despite that, neither Sheamus nor Holland has a place on the Money in the Bank card in London, England, though Butch will be part of the men's Ladder Match.
Talking to Metro, Sheamus admitted WWE may have so far dropped the ball with the group.
"I just don’t think they’ve really capitalized on [The Brawling Brutes]. I don’t think they’ve really let us show what we can do," he tells the site. "This stop/start stuff is really hard when you’re trying to highlight young talent."
"It’s frustrating, you know?" Sheamus continued. "So I dunno, maybe we’ll get an opportunity to show what we can really do as a group because a lot of those other groups who are out there now have definitely got an opportunity that we haven’t had to do some storyline stuff, some character stuff."
Hopefully, they'll get the chance to do what the former WWE Champion is hoping for as it's something Holland and Butch would both benefit greatly from. Drew McIntyre was briefly part of the faction heading into WrestleMania, but that saw the spotlight pulled away from the two younger Superstars.
Sheamus, meanwhile, continues to give WWE his all, something that was evident from a recent photo he shared of some battle wounds sustained during a recent non-televised WWE Live event...
