Sin Cara will officially remain with the WWE for the next three years. Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that the Smakdown Live star inked a new deal with the company several weeks ago. The former NXT Tag Team champion has been out of action due to a knee injury he suffered back in August 2018. Prior to that, the masked luchador was set to feud with the man formerly known as Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas.

The Smackdown Live superstar has been with the company since 2009 and replaced the original Sin Cara back in 2014 and has been wrestled under the mask ever since.

While the masked luchador is indeed a talented wrestler, the Sin Cara gimmick has been dead for years. Sin Cara hasn’t done much during his time with company as he was barely used prior to his injury. Perhaps that will change when the Smackdown Live talent makes his official return.
