The Hardy Boyz "Broken Universe" Legal Drama May Finally Be At An End - Is The Gimmick WWE Bound?

Are we finally going to see Matt and Jeff Hardy adopt their bonkers Broken gimmick on WWE TV? Well, if a recent report turns out to be accurate, their legal snafu with Impact/GFW is almost at an end...

Ever since Matt and Jeff Hardy returned to WWE at this year's WrestleMania, fans of the hilariously bizarre "Broken" gimmick they developed in Impact Wrestling (Now GFW) wondered if the pair would ever debut those characters in their old stopming grounds.

Though Matt has shown flashes of his WONDERRFULLL alter-ego, the duo were reportedly unable to completely transition to the Broken personalities because of a legal situation with their former employers.

Well, we now have some potentially DELIGHTFUL news:

In addition to this Tweet, Wrestling Observer Radio has confirmed that both sides are “real close” to a settlement being reached, which means it may not be long before we see Broken Matt and Brother Nero doing their thing in WWE.

Of course, as popular as the gimmick was in GBW, it remains to be seen how well it gets over with the WWE Universe.
