The Women's Tag Team Championship division has been pretty much dormant since WrestleMania but The IIconics put the titles on the line last night when Billie Kay and Peyton Royce sqaured off with The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) on SmackDown Live

What started as a relatively competitive bout ended when The IIconics decided to get themselves counted out in order to retain the titles.

Needless to say, this did not go down well with The Kabuki Warriors and they proceeded to completely decimate their opponents. Now, it appears as if we can expect a rematch to happen at SummerSlam where Asuka and Sane will more than likely be made champions. With any luck, that will lead to the division gettng a much-needed overhaul!
