These days, the vast majority of fans are aware that wrestlers are playing the characters we se on television and thanks to social media, we get to see who they really are on a frequent basis. However, many are confused by the fact that the likes of Mojo Rawley and Dolph Ziggler are now using their real names across Twitter and Instagram.

Well, the reason for that is reportedly because WWE's Superstars have realised that they need to build a brand for when the time comes for them to leave WWE.

WWE owns the names they use on TV so if Zelina Vega were to leave or was fired and then went by Thea Trinidad, at least fans will already be familiar with that name. It's a smart move and that Xavier Woods, a.k.a. Austin Creed, explained in detail when Lance Storm took to social media to ask why wrestlers had started using two different names.
