There's One Pro Wrestling Move Jim Ross Is Tired Of Seeing And Now You Won't Be Able To Unsee It

As you may or may not know, wrestlers often slap themselves while performing certain moves in order to make it sound like the punch or kick they just delivered to their opponent made that noise when it connected. It's something which is often done in a very subtle manner but WWE commentator Jim Ross has now made it clear that it's something he's sick and tired of seeing in the world of pro wrestling.

"These leg and arm slaps to make noise to simulate impact so your off-hand is slapping your thigh or whatever and we hear that noise. Man, when you pull the rabbit out of the hat time and time again the magic is starting to lose, it wanes. I think that’s gotta be done more strategically, more discreetly and across the board in the business, it’s overused without question."

It's easy to see why someone like Ross would be annoyed by this, especially as he knows the ins and outs of the wrestling business in a way most of us never will. Unfortunately, there's not really an alternative to this and it's not as if it's something which is done in every match we see to be fair. Still, if you've never noticed it before, it's fair to say it's now something you probably won't be able to miss.
