Vince McMahon Bringing Back Old Gimmicks Like RAW Roulette And CYBER SUNDAY In Bid To Improve WWE's Ratings

WWE returns to live event touring on July 16, but ticket sales have been slow and it's no secret that shows like RAW and SmackDown aren't performing as well as they probably should when it comes to ratings (that's particularly the case with the Monday night show).

Well, it's now being reported that Vince McMahon plans to resurrect some concepts like Old School RAW, the King of the Ring tournament (find out more about that here), and shows like Cyber Sunday

Later, we learned that RAW Roulette is another idea on the table and it sounds like we'll start seeing these later this year or early next. Whether it will make a difference is hard to say, though these were often ratings attractions for WWE in the past. However, for those of you wondering, the roulette wheel is gimmicked - as confirmed by WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross - so don't expect the booking to improve!

As for Cyber Sunday, those PPVs often struggled because fans weren't willing to pay for a show when they didn't know what matches would be taking place.

We'll see how this pans out, but it's certainly an intriguing prospect...
