Vince McMahon tackled a number of questions during a call with investors today, including the impact All Elite Wrestling has had on WWE since launching last year. Asked about the rival company being "edgy" and whether that's something which has hurt WWE, the Chairman responded by saying that WWE is all about characters, storylines, and resolutions.
AEW, however, has not changed WWE's point of view on any of that and the company plans on remaining PG moving forward. As for NXT, he said that's doing "extremely well" competing with All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite every Wednesday and McMahon noted that he's confident NXT will continue to find success.
In regards to talent costs increasing, McMahon admitted that it's happened but pointed out that revenue has also increased which "we're quite proud of." As you might expect, the WWE Chairman didn't have anything to say about WWE doing that in order to stop wrestlers from signing with AEW when their contracts expire.
