WWE Higher Ups Are Reportedly Not Happy With Big Cass After He Took A Recent Segment Too Far

Yes, we're talking about that segment. Recently on SmackDown LIVE, Big Cass beat up a little person that was supposed to resemble Daniel Bryan, but the seven-footer reportedly took things a bit too far...

Has Big Cass already derailed his push?

The seven-footer recently returned after months on the shelf and began a feud with one of the company top stars, but if a recent report is accurate, the former tag-team specialist may have brought things to a grinding halt.

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Cass went into business for himself during the already problematic segment featuring the little person that was brought out as a parody of Daniel Bryan:

We’re told Cass was directed to be done with the attack after hitting the impersonator with a big boot, but the wrestler asked if he could take it further with a beatdown. Backstage officials said no, but BC felt strongly about doing so and took the issue up with Vince McMahon … who also shot him down. When the segment happened in the ring though, Big Cass went against what he was told after hitting the big boot and mounted the little person to throw a barrage of punches.”

Could this be why Bryan defeated Cass relatively handily at Backlash and made him tap out almost immediately? It's certainly possible. If Cass loses his next match in similar fashion we'll know Vince wasn't too pleased!
