SummerSlam is just a few weeks away but it seems that all anyone in WWE can think about right now is who they would like to face at next year's WrestleMania. The Showcase of the Immortals will once again hail from New Orleans and with so much amazing talent on both RAW and SmackDown Live right now, it's already fair to assume that it's going to be a spectacle.
Right now, the rumour mill is pointing to the main event being Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship (yawn) but Big Cass has revealed in a recent interview that he would like to appear at the top of the card to go to war with the Big Dog.
"Roman Reigns has main evented three Wrestlemanias in a row and I’d really like to main event Wrestlemania with Roman Reigns. – that’s the match I really want right now. Love him, hate him – whatever you think of him it doesn’t matter, he’s main evented three straight Wrestlemanias and that’s almost unprecedented. I think The Rock is the only other guy to have been able to do that – three in a row. So right now, currently, [my dream match] is to main event Wrestlemania with Roman Reigns. He’s set the bar for Wrestlemania and that’s the guy I want to face at Wrestlemania."
It's understandable why Big Cass would want this match as Roman is viewed as WWE's top star right now and has indeed had three WrestleMania main events in a row (two of which were awful and one which was saved by Seth Rollins). It's also clear WWE is eyeing Cass for big star status but it's far too soon to say whether that will take and if he's worthy of this spot.
Would a Roman Reigns vs. Big Cass match be something you'd like to see at WrestleMania or does it sound like possibly the worst main event ever? As always, we'll let you share your thoughts on that in the comments section down below.
