WWE RAW Women's Champion Alexa Bliss Reflects On That Awful This Is Your Life Segment With Bayley

It's been called one of the worst segments in RAW history (no easy feat) and in a new interview, Women's Champion Alexa Bliss shares her thoughts on the cringe-worthy "This Is Your Life, Bayley" segment...

Since coming to the main roster from NXT, Alexa Bliss has been a huge asset to both SmackDown Live and RAW. She's now the first woman to hold each brand's title and as the current champion on the latter show, she's given a lot of time each week both in the ring and on the mic.

Unfortunately, that's not all been perfect and fans were left cringing (and scratching their heads) a few months back when Bliss hosted a terrible segment titled "This Is Your Life, Bayley" featuring a variety of people supposedly from Bayley's past who Bliss used to ridicule her opponent. Everyone hated it and it's been widely criticised, but what did Bliss think?

"Going into it, I don’t know – I didn’t really have any opinion on it whether it would be bad or good. I was just really excited to have fun with it and throw the little dolls and trophies off the table and just kind of make fun of Bayley in the best way I could. I know it has been deemed the worst segment in RAW history, so I guess that’s always something, I guess, I can hang my hat on! Exactly, so I’m going both spectrum here, Sam. I’m doing things that are the best and things that are the worst. I’m an all-around performer, I guess."

That feels like she's trying to find a diplomatic way of saying she knew it would be bad but wanted to try and have some fun with it! You can't blame Bliss for not beating herself up too much about it as the material was dreadful but if you want a reminder of just how bad it was, you can give it a watch below.
