WWE Reportedly Scrapped Plans For A Tag-Team MITB Ladder Match, Which Might Explain SAnitY's Absence

Despite being advertised for SmackDown LIVE around the time of the Superstar Shakeup, we haven't seen hide nor hair from former NXT faction SAnitY since. Now, it looks like we may know why that is...

Despite being heavily advertised around the time of the big Superstar Shakeup, SAnitY have yet to make their debut on SmackDown LIVE, and another former NXT team, The Authors of Pain, seem to have disappeared from Raw completely.

Rumors of rights and Visa issues have sprang up over the past few weeks, and while those things may also be a factor, it seems the main reason we haven't heard from these guys is simply because WWE is waiting for another opportunity to introduce/reintroduce them after scrapping plans for a tag-team Money in the Bank ladder match.

Here's what F4WOnline.com's Bryan Alvarez had to say during latest edition of Wrestling Observer Live:

"One of the other reasons they are not around is that there was in fact going to be ag tag team Money In The Bank ladder match. There was going to be 3 of them. Men’s, women’s, and tag team. We talked about this the day after the pay-per-view when they had a bunch of tag teams randomly talking about the Money In The Bank ladder match on Raw, but it got dropped "

Hopefully this means that we'll finally see these talented teams make some kind of impact after the MITB PPV this weekend.
