WWE SMACKDOWN LIVE Ratings Rose Thanks To CLASH OF CHAMPIONS Fallout

There weren't all that many twists and turns at the Clash of Champions PPV on Sunday but fans were clearly interested enough to tune into SmackDown Live this past Tuesday as ratings are again on the rise.

At Clash of Champions on Sunday, the tension between Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon continued to increase and AJ Styles beat Jinder Mahal to retain the WWE Championship. On SmackDown Live this past Tuesday, nothing really came from any of that as the General Manager and Commissioner appeared to put their differences aside and the show was main evented by a six-man tag team match.

That was fun but gave us no real idea of where things go for the title from here despite the fact that we're around a month away from the Royal Rumble. It seems we'll just have to be patient for now.

Regardless, ratings increased this week as SmackDown Live did a total of 2,578,000 million viewers, an increase from last week's 2,481,000 million viewers. The show was also ranked second in the top 150 shows on cable that night, so this is a good result overall and points to there being plenty of interest as we head into WrestleMania season next year. Did you guys tune in on Tuesday?
