WWE Superstar Finn Balor Thinks UFC Fighter And Fellow Irishman Conor McGregor Would Be A Great Fit For WWE

Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather will soon embark on the press tour to hype up their fight, but whatever the outcome may be, The Notorious One's future does seem uncertain. Of course, he may just decide to sit at home and live off the millions he's set to make for this match, but something tells me he's not the type of guy to rest on his laurels.

McGregor has taken shots at WWE Superstars in the past and some of them have fired back, but there are those that believe the entire thing was a work in order to set up some kind of partnership down the line. Whether that's true or not, it's definitely something a lot of people in the company would like to see.

The latest WWE employee to comment on the situation is Finn Balor, who will be rooting for Countryman in the Mayweather fight. When asked about a potential McGregor appearance/career in WWE during an interview with Sports Illustrated, The Demon had the following to say:

“I think he’s a natural fit, to be honest with you. He’s a natural showman, he’s an incredible athlete, probably one of the best athletes on the planet. I think given the opportunity to come to the WWE, I think he would thrive.

“I think he’ll just waltz out with his ‘Billion dollar strut’ -– very similar like Vince McMahon -– and probably lay some people out. I know Enzo Amore has been mentioning Conor a lot, is that a potential feud going forward? Who knows?”

If Conor gets bored enough, I think he'd be open to doing something with WWE - even if it's just a one-off appearance at Mania. In the meantime, let's wait and see of he manages to pull off a miracle and beat Mayweather next month.
