WWE Superstar R-Truth Tears Into CM Punk And Accuses Him Of Being Entitled And Unimpressive

In a very weird turn of events, WWE Superstar R-Truth has taken aim at CM Punk's 2014's comments about him and The Miz, calling the Best in the World unimpressive and entitled. Read on for details...

CM Punk made his AEW Dynamite debut last night, but elsewhere, WWE Superstar R-Truth decided to share his thoughts on the Best in the World. Punk left WWE in 2014 and later made an appearance on Colt Cabana's podcast, dropping a series of shocking revelations about his time in the company.

Those included health issues he had while in WWE and what he said to Vince McMahon and Triple H the day he left. One throwaway comment saw Punk mention that it made no sense for him to be losing to The Miz and R-Truth at that time, and when a clip with that excerpt started doing the rounds on Tik-Tok, the former 24/7 Champion ended up leaving a comment!

"CM Punk you lost to me and Miz cause we were HOTTER than you sorry, and I neva thought you were impressive at all, just typical entitlement," the usually cool-headed Truth responded.

Honestly, it's a little childish as what Punk said was by no means personal. It clearly struck a nerve with Truth, though, and it seems not everyone is happy to see the former WWE Champion return to pro wrestling. That was always going to be the case, of course, but Punk has fully moved on from what was a mostly unhappy time in WWE and so far looks to be having a blast in AEW.

Check out Truth's, real name Ron Killings, response below:

In other words: "Nuh uh, I WANT THE ATTENTION!"
Sheesh. He and Booker T need to shut their mouths. Booker got all pissy after Punk made a single passing comment in WWE's direction, even though Punk was entirely correct in what he said. They're just whiny that nobody cares about them.

@pestulio07 - Punk, as great as he is, has and always will be a well known giant asshole. R-Truth has never said anything bad about anyone so for him to say something, he must've done something really bad..

I never really saw what the big deal was with Punk. To be honest, Truth is probably the most mismanaged and underutilized wrestler in WWE. Lots of talent but not used correctly.

@lawndart - Punk is a great talent. Both on the mic and in the ring. But so is R-Truth lol.

So I'm not sure I understand either side here.
