Earlier this year, we learned that former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy was arrested for a DUI after an accident on Concord Parkway in Concord, North Carolina. While no one was injured, it was still a nasty accident because Hardy ended up totalling his car and caused around $8000 worth of damages after hitting a guardrail at an estimated 50mph. Needless to say, he's lucky to still be alive!

Hardy has his driving license suspended for 30 days and while it didn't appear as if he would be punished by WWE (he did win the United States Championship, after all), there has been some concern among fans. Well, in an update, we now know that the popular WWE Superstar ended up pleading guilty to driving while impaired and he's received a 120-day suspended sentence as a result.

Hardy was also fined $300 for court costs and will now have to perform 48 hours of community service within 120 days. It could have been worse but here's hoping he's learned his lesson.
