AEW Adds Three Matches To Their Upcoming WRESTLEDREAM Pay-Per-View

Several new matches have been confirmed for WrestleDream!

This past Tuesday, Kyle Fletcher successfully defended his TNT Championship for the fifth time by having another battle against Kyle O’Reilly. Following his big win, Lance Archer attacked the downed O’Reilly with Mark Briscoe making the save. Fletcher left the ring to avoid confrontation with Mark; however, it was later confirmed that Fletcher’s next defense will be against Mark Briscoe.

But that wasn’t the only new match added.

Jurassic Express made their return at All Out at the expense of The Young Bucks. That’s because Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus ruined Matthew and Nicholas’ chances at winning the AEW World Tag Team titles. But the former AEW World Tag Team Champions were able to get a measure of revenge on Title Tuesday following Jurassic Express’ first match together in three years. Before the beatdown, The Young Bucks challenged the duo to a match at WrestleDream and the duo accepted. It was later confirmed that the tag team match between The Bucks and Jurassic Express will take place at the upcoming pay-per-view.

Last, but not least, Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita earned the right to challenge for the AEW World Tag Team Champions by beating Brody King and Bandido. The heel challengers took advantage of the shoulder injury that Bandido had coming in, though the partnership between Okada and Takeshita was far from perfect.

WrestleDream is fully filling out and with one more week to go before the big pay-per-view, there’s likely going to be a couple of more matches added to the big show.

Check out the updated line-up below:

  • Hangman Page vs. Samoa Joe for the AEW World Championship
  • Kris Statlander vs. Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s Championship
  • “Brodido” Brody King and Bandido vs. Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita for the AEW Tag Team Titles
  • Kyle Fletcher vs. Mark Briscoe for the TNT Championship
  • Darby Allin vs. Jon Moxley in an I Quit match
  • “The Young Bucks” Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson vs. “Jurassic Express” Jack Perry and Luchasaurus for $500,000
