The next episode of AEW Collision (set to air this Saturday, October 25, 2025 on TNT at 8 p.m. ET) was pre-recorded in advance with a set of tapings following the Wednesday, October 22nd episode of AEW Dynamite at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, Texas.
Want to know what happens before it airs? We've got some SPOILERS for you if you'd already like to know the winners of the matches and other highlights, according to various reports.
Here's your breakdown of what supposedly was recorded during these tapings:
- The show opened with a promo from "Hangman" Adam Page, addressing Samoa Joe's promise to keep going after him and the AEW World Championship. Page supposedly said he would find Joe on his terms, and that he's going to ruin Joe's life.
- JetSpeed ("The Jet" Kevin Knight and "Speedball" Mike Bailey) and Jurassic Express ("Jungle" Jack Perry and Luchasaurus) defeated The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) and FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler with Stokely Hathaway) in a four-on-four eight-man tag team match with $400k on the line.
- PAC of The Death Riders defeated Tomohiro Ishii of The Conglomeration by pinfall.
- Thekla defeated Mina Shirakawa by pinfall.
- CMLL's Olympia defeated Taya Valkyrie by pinfall.
- Ace Austin defeated Bryan Keith by pinfall.
- HOOK defeated Griff Garrison by submission.
Editorial Thoughts on These Spoilers:
This seems like a run of the mill episode of Collision and not a must-see edition. While there is, of course, lots of talent being featured, the matches are primarily just there to be matches and not much in the way of storyline progression. It's disappointing that no matches for the AEW Women's World Tag Team Championship tournament are taking place, for instance, and the only thing with stakes is the imaginary $400,000 on the line in the eight-man tag. It might as well be just another "All Star 8-Man Tag" match, in a sense. Thekla beating Shirakawa could lean into the tournament if Julia Hart and Skye Blue end up against Shirakawa and "Timeless" Toni Storm, so that may be a spoiler, but something like Griff Garrison being fed to HOOK or having Adam Page cut a generic "Oh yeah?" type of promo in response to Samoa Joe seems rather weak and something WWE is guilty of doing all the time to drag things out. Unless the matches are fantastic (and there's no measurable buzz I'm seeing yet, at least), it seems skippable.
