With the massive coronavirus outbreak that’s currently affecting promotions such as New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Dragon Gate, and Stardom, rumors were starting to spread about AEW cancelling upcoming shows until further notice.

All Elite Wrestling released a statement on the coronavirus outbreak and at the moment, the promotion isn’t axing any upcoming shows; however, they will keep a close eye on the Coronavirus going forward:

All AEW events are currently moving forward as scheduled.  Of course, the safety and well-being of AEW fans, partners and talent is always our top priority, so we will continue to closely monitor the rapidly evolving situation related to COVID-19 and be guided by government officials, health organizations and venue management.  AEW will update ticket purchasers if there are any changes to the event schedule, and we encourage everyone in the AEW family to be good to themselves – and each other – by taking preventative actions as recommended by the CDC and WHO.

All Elite Wrestling will be in Salt Lake City, Utah for Dynamite tonight, and the next events are scheduled for Rochester NY, Newark NJ, Milwaukee, St. Louis, Boston and Philadelphia in the upcoming weeks.

Meanwhile, rumors regarding WrestleMania 36 being cancelled are still buzzing. WWE has made a statement regarding the situation; however, the big event has yet to be cancelled thus far.

NJPW was forced to scrap their New Japan Cup tournament plans as the company just added March 16 – 21 to their cancelled dates. Dragon Gate won’t be running any shows until March 14th and Stardom is doing empty arena shows until March 22.
