Last week, former Impact World Champion Austin Aries had the wrestling world buzzing when several photos showed the former WWE and Impact Wrestling star in Atlanta, Georgia at the State Farm Arena with WWE Hall of Famer DDP.
Now, the 41-year-old has revealed the reasoning behind his appearance at the State Farm Arena, which surprisingly has nothing to do with him wrestling. Aries responded to a report from Bodyslam.net, stating that he was trying to get AEW to buy into a collaboration with BioXcellerator (Transcript courtesy of Fightful.com).
“I work for BioX. I did have meetings about partnerships and collaborations with both DDP and DDPY Brand as well as AEW," Below is a photo with Aries confirming his position at BioXcellerator as Director of Athletic Performance Division.

While the Wisconsin native hasn’t wrestled since MLW’s Superfight pay-per-view last year, Aries has yet to call it quits on his career. As previously stated, the former Impact World Champion has praised AEW in the past and stated numerous times that he would like to wrestle Cody Rhodes.
