Matt Hardy Appeared On AEW: DYNAMITE To Address His In-Ring Injury After ALL OUT Injury

At All Out on Sunday, Matt Hardy took a horrendous bump during his match with Sammy Guevara when he was speared off a platform through a table. His head and upper body completely missed the table below, and Hardy could be seen visibly knocked out. Surprisingly, he was allowed to finish the match, and that was understandably something of a mess.

During last night's All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite, Hardy hit the ring to address his "scary fall" and thanks fans for their concern. Confirming that he will make a 100% recovery, Matt pointed out his wife and son in the crowd in a segment that definitely felt like it was damage control to some extent (AEW came under fire for allowing Matt to continue, with Reby Hardy voicing her displeasure online).

Apologising to his family and fans, Hardy acknowledged that the match wasn't what he wanted, and indicated that his feud with Guevara is now officially at an end. Now, Matt is heading home to get healthy, but said that he will return to AEW, and when he does, he intends to go after the All Elite Wrestling World Championship.
