Could Broken Matt Hardy make his way over to New Japan Pro-Wrestling?

While there’s currently no speculation on the two sides working out a potential deal, AEW’s newest talent revealed himself that he has a unique stipulation in his clause that allows him to wrestle for the Japanese promotion if he wants to:

The former WWE Tag Team Champion has fought in Ring of Honor, Impact Wrestling, and NWA; however, Hardy has yet to step into a New Japan Pro-Wrestling ring. The latest AEW acquisition shares the same stipulation as Jon Moxley, Chris Jericho, The Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega.

New Japan’s next biggest pay-per-view is SAKURA GENESIS on March 31st. At the moment, that pay-per-view is still a big question; however, should the event go on as planned then anything can certainly happen. Until then, Hardy is set to have a face-to-face confrontation against former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho this Wednesday.
