Sarah Stock did not like what she saw at WrestleDream.
Darby Allin and Jon Moxley had a wild I Quit match on Saturday. This wasn’t just a typical Moxley/Allin match as the two men somehow managed to elevate the violence with one of the most notable spots being Jon trying to drown Darby in a fish tank.
It’s safe to say that the match wasn’t for kids. However, AEW has never been particularly a family friendly product. The company has never touted themselves a PG product, though with the recent price hikes on WWE’s side, Tony Khan has said that they made the ticket prices very “family friendly” since the first show.
"I think we have really always made it very family friendly from the very first AEW show. It's always been important to have affordable tickets for he fans and we've always kept the entry price very affordable and that's been consistent for AEW from the very beginning ... it's really been over the years for me something that we've always made a point of emphasis and we bring it up time after time throughout the year," Khan explained speaking with "The Sportster."
"I do think in professional wrestling AEW is absolutely the best value you get for your tickets ... we've been having a lot of people this past year, really positive feedback from them, saying that the ticket prices for AEW are a big positive point for the company."
That statement comes off the back end of TKO COO talking about raising prices and stated that Vince McMahon “primarily pricing tickets for families and wasn’t totally focused on maxing the opportunity there.”
That brings us to Stock’s reaction to the WrestleDream main event. The former AEW coach was not happy about what she saw between Allin and Moxley and warned mothers to not let their kids watch AEW.
“You know who should stop this? Mothers. With their remote control. This is worse than the plastic bag over the head. Kids are going to end up dead trying this stuff at home,” she wrote.
But Amanda Huber (Brodie Lee’s wife) quickly responded and she did not hold back on her response.
This is the spot that Huber is talking about.
Stock has not responded to Amanda’s statement. Sarah began working as an AEW producer in March 2023; however, she was released in April 2025. The reasoning for her release is unknown.
Was Sarah Stock right to call out AEW for the WrestleDream spot?
