The viewership for Countdown to Double or Nothing is down.

Before the big pay-per-view last Saturday, AEW ran their countdown special which highlights several of the company’s top feuds and the overall viewership drew 344,000 on TNT, according to ShowBuzzDaily. This number is down due to the countdown special of AEW Revolution, which drew 383,000 viewers and got a 0.14 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic.

The total number of pay-per-view buys have yet to be released for the show that featured the crowning of the first TNT Champion, Hikaru Shida winning the AEW Women’s Championship, a wild Stadium Stampede match between The Elite (Matt Hardy, The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, and Adam Page) and The Inner Circle (Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, Santana, Ortiz, and Jake Hager), and Jon Moxley defending his AEW World Title against Mr. Brodie Lee.

The countdown special for Full Gear was an online only exclusive that garnered less than 250,000 viewers; however, the pay-per-view buys for the event in Baltimore, Maryland managed to get slightly below 100,000. With the current coronavirus pandemic and $50 price tag, the total buys is expected to be down, though getting over 80,000 buys will be considered a success for the company.
