The Young Bucks, Matt and Nick Jackson, are widely considered the greatest tag team on the planet. After making a name for themselves across the globe, they're now the face of the tag team division in All Elite Wrestling. However, they very nearly found their way to WWE.

In a new interview, they've claimed that Triple H approached them with a big money offer to sign with the company (that came shortly after their run with New Japan Pro Wrestling).

"Everyone else was getting [$150,000] to start," Matt said. "He's already offering us $500,000 each guaranteed. I'm going, 'What?' Right then, we knew our street value. That was the first offer. Basically, he said, 'by the end of your trip, I would love an answer.' The whole trip, I'm [stressed]. I kept dragging it out."

Ultimately, Triple H would get his answer when The Young Bucks signed with AEW.

While some might argue that they were foolish to turn down a contract offer as lucrative as that, had they signed with WWE, Matt and Nick would probably have been split up by now and would be chasing down the 24/7 Championship backstage. That's not because they're not incredible talents, but because WWE seems unable to effectively book tag teams (just look at The Revival).

Do you think The Young Bucks made the right decision heading to AEW instead of WWE?
