The latest edition of WWE Monday Night Raw for July 6, 2020 took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Here is a recap of the most noteworthy highlights from this episode for those who might have missed it:

— The show opened with Dolph Ziggler saying the stipulation he picks for the WWE Championship match at Extreme Rules: The Horror Show is a secret for now. He claims Drew McIntyre left him behind, just like he did with Heath Slater, who came out to remind McIntyre he promised him a title match. McIntyre said he didn't want to fight him, but after Slater pushed and slapped him, McIntyre granted his wish. Pretty much immediately after the bell rang, McIntyre blasted Slater with a Claymore and won by pinfall to retain the WWE Championship. Ziggler then started fighting with Slater until McIntyre made the save.

— Kairi Sane defeated Sasha Banks by disqualification after Bayley interfered.

— Aleister Black was attacked backstage prior to his planned match with Rey Mysterio against Seth Rollins and Murphy. Rollins was on The Kevin Owens Show to talk about how he formally challenges Rey Mysterio to a match for Extreme Rules, which Mysterio accepted. Owens opted to replace Black in the tag team match with the winning duo picking the stipulation for Extreme Rules.

— Rey Mysterio and Kevin Owens defeated Seth Rollins and Murphy by pinfall. Mysterio chose an "Eye for an Eye" match for Extreme Rules.

— MVP and Bobby Lashley debuted a new United States Championship belt that MVP plans to hold once he beats Apollo Crews for the title at Extreme Rules. Cedric Alexander and Ricochet came out for a fight on Apollo's honor. MVP and Bobby Lashley defeated Cedric Alexander and Ricochet by pinfall.

— Randy Orton, Andrade and Angel Garza defeated Big Show and The Viking Raiders by pinfall

— Billie Kay defeated Ruby Riott by pinfall.

— Asuka defeated Bayley by pinfall.

Next week, The Kabuki Warriors will face The Golden Role Models for the Women's Tag Team Championship.
