It looks like Matt Riddle really is on his way to WWE.

The popular indie star recently cancelled several upcoming shows, which prompted speculation that he might be WWE-bound. This was after reports arose that the company had "softened their stance" on hiring Riddle, who is... well, fond of a little smoke.

Now, CZW is advertising the upcoming New Heights event as Matt's "final indy appearance before going to WWE!"

Seems like pretty solid confirmation - although there are those that believe CZW may simply be capitalizing on the recent buzz, and don't actually know for certain that Riddle signed with WWE.

We'll keep you guys posted on the situation.
