A few weeks ago, it was reported that a new independent wrestling promotion was being launched from Jacksonville Jaguars owner Tony Khan alongside Chris Jericho and Jim Ross. Since then, "All Elite Wrestling" has filed trademarks for names like All Out, AEW Double of Nothing, and more besides.
Now, a new report from Pro Wrestling Sheet has clarified matters and it's said that those talks of Jericho and Ross having an ownership role were actually exaggerated. Instead, they'll be used solely as talents, while the likes of Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks are also expected to back the promotion.
It seems as if All Elite Wrestling is taking aim at a 2019/2020 debut and with Jericho seemingly involved, that points to him not returning to WWE for the foreseeable future. What do you guys think? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts on this news in the comments section down below.
