Former WWE Champion Dean Ambrose is no longer under contract with WWE and, as we told you last night, he's been moved to the alumni section on WWE.com. There's a lot of speculation as to what his future will be in the wrestling business and while he could return to WWE down the line, theories are running rampant that he'll join the All Elite Wrestling roster.

Now, Chris Jericho has commented on that and as someone who is also playing a role behind the scenes, his thoughts are definitely interesting.

"I’m sure if he wants to come to AEW he’d be more than welcome," the WWE Legends turned Indy Superstar teases. "When you get a great performer, it doesn’t matter what company they were before because they’re in a top level. It’s a grind, and not just the physical aspect of it but there’s a mental standpoint."

Cody Rhodes has said that they don't want to fill the AEW roster with former WWE talent but Ambrose is a huge star so they may make an exception.
