We’re exactly one week away from the TV debut of All Elite Wrestling, and Cody Rhodes has penned an emotional statement highlighting his journey up until his big moment next week.

The AEW Executive Vice President highlights how PWG and Colt Cabana were the driving force behind his fire for professional wrestling. He also names The Young Bucks as being able to build a brand despite not being under the WWE umbrella.

He then speaks on his wrestling stint upon leaving WWE after his 11-year tenure, wanting to prove to naysayers that he could draw 10,000+ at “All In” and how that event changed the world of wrestling. Cody goes on to thank Tony Khan for his help and expresses his gratitude towards the passionate wrestling fans that have driven him to get to this point in his career.
