El Hijo del Fantasma, Ivelisse, Joey Ryan and Kobra Moon are no longer under contract with Lucha Underground.

The former LU stars filed a class-action lawsuit against the El Rey Network and Baba-G Productions, which are the television company and network that host the Lucha Libre promotion. Attorney Andre Verdun who represented the talent in the case had the following to say about the news:

“I’m honored to say that we received 100% of the relief that we were suing to obtain and four young talented wrestlers are no longer bound by an unfair contract that prohibits them from taking full advantage of their talents at the prime of their career,” said attorney Andre Verdun. “I wish them all the best of luck.”

Lucha Central reported that an agreement was made to grant the Lucha Underground talents their immediate releases from the company. The lawsuit between all parties involved has been officially settled with.

Since Lucha Underground aired its finale back on November 7th, there hasn’t been any word on the future of the promotion. Chris DJ DeJoseph – a producer for Lucha Underground – made a comment stating that he personally believed the show was dead back in February, strongly indicating that the chances of a season 5 are extremely low.
