It appears that Hijo del Fantasma – Lucha Underground’s King Cuerno – is done with AAA, which was confirmed by
Medio Tiempo and even the former AAA star himself, who retweeted tons of fans wishing him the best in future endeavors. The Lucha Libre wrestler posted a photo montage of big moments throughout his time in the promotion:
Fantasma made his debut for the company back in 2013 and has since been one of the top stars in AAA. He’s had memorable feuds against talents such as Texano Jr., Drago, and L.A. Park. Fantasma was the first man to become the AAA World Cruiserweight Champion, and he’s also held the AAA Latin American and AAA Fusión Championship.
There’s no word on where Cuerno could go next, though his options are a bit limited thanks to his Lucha Underground contract. Fantasma is apart of the lawsuit against El Rey Network and Baba-G Productions over his restrictive LU deal.
