Ultimo Dragon is now back with Dragon Gate.

The former WWE and WCW star confirmed during an emotional speech at Dragon Gate Storm Gate 2019 that he was returning to the company for good. The wrestling veteran headlined the show with Darkness Dragon & Dragon Kid to take on DoiYoshi (Masato Yoshino & Naruki Doi) & YAMATO.

The match went to a no contest when the group known as RED attacked. After the attack, Yoshino asked Ultimo to become a member of Dragon Gate, which he accepted.

Ultimo made his return to the promotion on July 21st after being away from Dragon Gate for over 15 years. The 52-year-old is notable for his time in WCW, where he won the WCW Cruiserweight and World Television Championship twice during his time with the company.

Dragon also had a very brief run with WWE and also competed in New Japan Pro Wrestling, CMLL, and All Japan Pro Wrestling.
