First Chris Jericho, now another wrestling legend and notable WWE wrestler will be appearing at the Dominion event.

New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced that Rey Mysterio will be in-action at Dominion event on June 9th.

Mysterio was previously scheduled to face Jushin Liger at the Strong Style Evolved event in Long Beach, CA back in March, however he was pulled when he suffered a biceps injury at a Northeast Wrestling event several weeks before the Long Beach event. Despite not being able to compete against Liger, Mysterio did make a surprise appearance at the Strong Style Evolved event and promised the fans he would compete for NJPW as soon as he was medically cleared to do so.

Mysterio has since been cleared to return to the ring, and most recently competed in the WWE Greatest Royal Rumble match in Saudi Arabia.
