IWGP Intercontinental Championship Match Confirmed For NJPW'S DOMINION Pay-Per-View

This past weekend, NJPW fans learned that Chris Jericho will return to challenge Kazuchika Okada for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship at Dominion; however, another huge title match has been set for the show.

We officially have our second confirmed match-up for Dominion, which will see Tetsuya Naito vying to regain the IWGP Intercontinental championship from Kota Ibushi.

These two have been feuding since Ibushi eliminated the former Intercontinental champion from the New Japan Cup back in March. Ibushi and Naito had a tremendous one-on-one encounter at the G1 Supercard show in Madison Square Garden that resulted in Ibushi winning the title for the first time in his career.

Naito is looking to be the first man in New Japan to hold both the IWGP Intercontinental and Heavyweight championships simultaneously. The other big match for Dominion was announced as Kazuchika Okada will be defending the IWGP Heavyweight Championship against Chris Jericho.
