Jon Moxley recently sat down for an interview with New Japan Pro Wrestling in which he touched on a number of topics including the fact he's changed his ring gear. While in WWE as Dean Ambrose, Moxley wore a vest and jeans to the ring but he's now switched to traditional wrestling tights/trunks.

So, what led to his new look?

"I wanted to change my look, for sure. When I was in WWE, I always wrestled in jeans, and there was a reason for that; everybody else had fancy tights and I wanted to be the opposite. More grungy, a street fighter type. But wrestling in jeans, honestly, it sucks. They’re hot, sweaty, hard to move in. I’m done with wrestling in jeans! It’s so much easier to wrestle in tights."

"When I looked in the mirror before I went out," he continued, "I felt naked because I was so used to wrestling in jeans. So I knew then that it would cause a reaction, and be a bit of a shock."

Moxley will take on Kenny Omega at All Elite Wrestling's All Out PPV and faces Joey Janela at the upcoming Fyter Fest event. Based on these remarks, we can expect to see him wearing these trunks there rather than reverting to his past look.
