Lucha Underground star Ivelisse continues to be vocal on her contract situation with the Lucha Libre promotion and their working partner, IMPACT Wrestling. It was previously reported that the former two-time Trios champion was set to make her re-debut with IMPACT back in mid-2018; however, for unknown reasons to Ivelisse, her return to the company was ultimately nixed.
In Ivelisse's most recent tweet, she questions why she is unable to work for IMPACT Wrestling if the two companies have been producing joint projects together:
Casey Michael, owner of Squared Circle Sirens responded to Ivelisse's tweet, calling her out by bringing to light a comment she made about Tessa Blanchard:
The third-generation star chimed in on the situation, noting that the LU star chalked up Blanchard’s success thanks to her father’s doing:
"Her exact words to me were "I never had a family name, I had to work for everything I have from the streets. I have dealt with people like that since I started and I am much stronger than those people."
Perhaps this may be the reason why Ivelisse has yet to make a return to the company. The LU star would make an excellent addition to the knockouts roster; however, it's clear that there’s a reason the company has opted to not use her despite her obvious interest in wanting to work in IMPACT.
